About Dr. Joseph Kearney - Post-Quantum Cryptography Researcher
I'm a blockchain researcher and innovator with a PhD in Computer Science and over eight years of experience at the intersection of blockchain, cryptography, and quantum technologies.
My research focuses on post-quantum cryptography and its application to blockchain systems. I've published work analysing the vulnerabilities of major blockchain networks to quantum attacks and proposed migration pathways using lattice-based cryptography.
I have experience building and leading research teams, defining research agendas, and translating technical innovations into practical solutions. My work has involved collaboration with global organisations including the United Nations GRACE initiative, as well as advising startups on blockchain strategy.
I regularly speak at international conferences and contribute to standards discussions on post-quantum cryptography adoption. I serve as a reviewer for IEEE Access and Elsevier journals.
